Once upon a time, in the digital realm of Tinder, a serendipitous match sparked a connection between two souls from different corners of the world. In October 2016, amidst the flurry of messages and virtual banter, they found each other - she from the Netherlands, he from Scotland. Despite the geographical distance, their bond blossomed, leading to their first face-to-face encounter in December. Initially, the odds seemed daunting, but their daily exchanges on WhatsApp served as a lifeline, bridging the miles between them. Just three months later, they reunited, their hearts echoing the longing for togetherness.

With dreams intertwining, they embarked on a journey beyond borders. She contemplated studying in Groningen, while he sought a place nearby, unknowingly laying the foundation for a shared future. Apartment hunting soon became a joint endeavor, signalling the dawn of a new chapter. As days turned into cherished memories, their affection deepened, and the notion of cohabitation evolved into a commitment. Amidst the uncertainties, they welcomed a furry addition to their budding family, a playful kitten named Chloe.

Their love story unfurled with twists and turns, leading them to Almelo, where they nurtured their individual aspirations side by side. Through trials and triumphs, their bond flourished, paving the way for a new chapter. In 2020, the pitter-patter of tiny feet brought immeasurable joy as they welcomed their first daughter into the world. Relocating to Geesteren, they embraced parenthood with open hearts, creating a haven filled with love and laughter.
